There will be other fish in the sea

I got the chance to catch up with my babies during today's late afternoon. We went to go fill our stomachs at Boiling Crab, but it is sadly closed for the 23rd, 24th, and 25th so we hit up Artist instead. Food was "Pretty Good" but not worth the money. Shady business, especially with their "No Smoking" sign. The fucking manager was smoking it up in there. Went to go visit our little boo at work since she couldn't make it to our little get together today. Browsed around the mall and whatnot. Kimchi and I made use of our time in the photo booth machine. My fav! Photos were absolutely adorable! We also updated each other about our lives: school, friends, life, and the infamous topic of all: our exes. I am a person who likes to void out all past lovers and buggers. Therefore, I will not be reminded of them and move on with my life. But Kimchi did tell me about an interesting bit of info that I will take into consideration: Avoid SC at all costs. A quote from Carrie states, "When a relationship dies do we ever really give up the ghost or are we forever haunted by the spirits of relationships past?" I give up the ghost. Adding on to that, she told me that I remind her of Carrie from Sex and the City. I am flattered by all means. Overall, pretty good darn day with my kids today. All I know is that I will be expecting a Tofu House late night run very soon. Very soon. I have also been on the prowl for books and movies on my long list and I'm glad to say that it's now just a list.

Everybody's got a hungry heart

Basic Sundays consists of mother-daughter time, whether we are angry at each other or not, it's a must. Ran some errands with my momma at Costco where there were hoards of people snagging free food samples after samples. Ridiculous, but "free food is the best food" they say. Visited my dad at work for a bit then finally hit the town. I couldn't find a jumper at H&M that I was eying, but I did get the chance to snag a cute gold on black bag with tassel included. My fav! I then met up with my girls to go eat dinner. At first, we felt like sushi and udon, but then we changed our minds for some Thai food. Smart move, even though Nancy ordered the devil dish that made our noses sweat like a waterfall. Food was wonderful though. Our jeans buttons were unbuttoned by the end of our dinner. On top of all that, Bang gave us some homemade cheesecake cups. DELICIOUS. Wonderful fattening day.

Oh BTW, I wonder who was the lucky girl yesterday...

Adorable, is it not? Might I add that it was delicious also.

Two decades of endurance

On Wednesday, my family and I went out to celebrate my parents' 20th anniversary. Like Diana Ross & The Supremes say, "Ain't no mountain high enough, ain't no valley low enough, ain't no river wide enough." Aside for all of that, I am now infatuated with Henri Bendel. His bags are beyond gorgeous. It hurt me to walk away without one of his bags to claim.. One day.. Also, I am disgusted by apples, carmel apples to be exact. I have made atleast 100 of them in the past week. They are tedious and insanely messy to make, but they come out beautifully, and that's all that matters to me. I have not had the chance to try one for myself, but I think it'll taste as good as it looks. As for now, I am tired. Tomorrow is my last day of being confined in a classroom and worrying about civics and whatnot. Can you tell that I am excited about it? I'm ecstatic.

I've got a date with the night

Marcos kept his promise with me; he took my girls on a date with the night in LA. My fascination with museums, tourists, bright lights, and creepers all in one place is my kind of love. Marcos was being the gentleman he is, my adorable mother was being the obessessed Michael Jackson fan she is, my little one was being the tall giant she is, and as for me, I was breaking my neck by constantly looking back at all the beautiful clothes that were on display in the stores. (This means that I am adding on to my endless Christmas wishlist still.) I like seeing real people in the works, whether they are salesmen, security, scammers, or pick-pockets. It's called life. Life has been very good to me for this past week, especially this weekend. I felt as if I have everything set, but at the same time, while going with the flow. Life is GOLD.
