Cheers!

I had just given birth to a new blog. I'm quite a proud mother. Thanks to all the kids who do their ranting and venting on blogs like these, I have found myself falling into the same bandwagon. Don't judge me! Now the true quest for me is to actually use this on a daily basis. I wonder how long this is going to last me..

Today, I was finalizing my applications for my future: college. I was curious enough to look up what the meaning of college is, and according to http://www.dictionary.com/, this is what popped up:

col-lege : noun

1. an institution of higher learning, esp. one providing a general or liberal arts education rather than technical or professional training. Compare university.
2. a constituent unit of a university, furnishing courses of instruction in the liberal arts and sciences, usually leading to a bachelor's degree.
3. an institution for vocational, technical, or professional instruction, as in medicine, pharmacy, agriculture, or music, often a part of a university.
4. an endowed, self-governing association of scholars incorporated within a university, as at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge in England.
5. a similar corporation outside a university.
6. the building or buildings occupied by an institution of higher education.
7. the administrators, faculty, and students of a college.
8. (in Britain and Canada) a private secondary school.
9. an organized association of persons having certain powers and rights, and performing certain duties or engaged in a particular pursuit: The electoral college formally selects the president.
10. a company; assemblage.
11. Also called collegium. a body of clergy living together on a foundation for religious service or similar activity.
12. British Slang. a prison.

Isn't funny that for the 12th definition, it says prison? I believe that that's saying something.. If I were to be accepted to San Francisco, San Diego, or L.A. I believe I'll be set. Distance is no matter, baby. Although my ideal place is San Francisco. Up north: seeing art, walking on art, breathing art, LIVING in art. But afar from the art, I would be finally detached from my mother's umbilical cord. I would then be able to unleash the devil within. How exciting. But first, I must wait in agony, irritation, frustration, and anticipation for those moments of truth. Until then, I must presume with my life still within the nest.

Aside from college, I'm thinking about sporting some bangs and a lighter shade color to my hair. But Chris Raymond thought otherwise.

XOXO
