Eighteen Candles

I can no longer relate to ABBA's line, "You are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen," or Ladytron's sad but true statement, "They only want you when you're seventeen, when you're twenty one, you're no fun," and not even Metro Station's Seventeen Forever line, "You won't be seventeen forever." I am a bit sad, but then again, you can't be "forever young." As you can tell, I am making a lot of references to songs.

I am a simple person. The simplest things in life give me pleasure. Therefore I decided to keep my birthday a low key occasion, but some sweethearts decided to celebrate for me. I would like to thank all of those who took time and consideration in wishing me a happy birthday or going out of their way to make this day memorable to me. I really appreciate it. Thank you Mama Jeric for personally visiting me on the dot with your delicious brownies and Snuggie! Thank you Ryan and my sister fighting over who would say happy birthday to me first. Thank you for all those considerate emails, texts, phone calls, presents, kisses, thought, and love. I am truly blessed to have such sweet people. I will be enjoying my gifts over these following few days.

As for my Spring Break, it was casual, yet wonderful. Although I did not do much, doing the little things with the people I enjoy spending my time with was worth it. From LA outings, movie nights, simple visits, and whatnot. I am happy to end it with such a great day to an adventure to LA for a flea market with Vincent, first time to Pink's, spending time with Mama J, then a little cute surprise from Tony.

Pictures and a more legitimate blog post will be up as soon as I find the time to not be lazy! Love and kisses!

XOXO
